All this dumb bastard had to do was throw some money around and quietly fund the independent scene. Then off the back of that Tony could book and promote 4 big shows a year. If there was still an independent scene guys could get themselves over and Tony could be seen as the hero of wrestling who brings it all together.
Who in their right mind would want to be responsible for 52 weeks of entertainment a year and hold millions of dollars in guaranteed contacts.
