And then Tony had Punk win the belt AGAIN in his hometown at All Out. Yeah, the unification squash was stupid, but Tony still put the World Title on Punk AGAIN and Punk injured himself immediately AGAIN.
And then after WINNING the World title at AEW’s biggest show of the year, Punk went on a completely uninvited 20 minute promo shitting on the company and its execs instead of putting over his own World Title win.
Fast forward and he’s being booked as the “Real” World Champion and is made to be the face of a show made entirely FOR HIM that is supposed to rival Dynamite.
And then, at one of the largest wrestling events in history, and AEW’s single biggest show in history, he flips shit over fucking Jungle Shitter and fights backstage over things said in a PRESHOW match which unintentionally breaks the entire landscape of the professional wrestling world.
Punk literally broke pro wrestling.
