Tna hype was weird because, depending on whatever 'new' direction the company was promising to go in, different segments of wrestling fandom jumped on board as others were abandoning ship. It was a thing that seriously happened every 3-6 months from the start or the promotion.

EVERYBODY stopped mentioning it everywhere when they were booted off Spike, though. When wbd drops this shit, the only aew discussion youre going to see is how no one ever really liked it.
