I don't watch it but he's right and you can't prove him wrong - there's no Cawdy cringe on Raw which means this is the better brand of the two now, NXT automatically doesn't count because its a school, and WWE is the major leagues which means its automatically better than any other wrestling show from the minor leagues, so thinking logically, Raw is the best wrestling show on tv now

I don't like Cawdy either but I read the rundown of last week's smackdown and it sounded like a better show than sitting through any 3+ hour RAW from the last ten years or more. I don't watch that horseshit either but I do keep up with what goes on there and while the booking sounds frustrating, stupid, backwards, and completely counter-productive it's at least funny to laugh at & the worst episodes always sound like they'd be much easier to actually sit down and watch than the average 3 hour RAW, which damn near puts me to sleep just reading the results.

I'm actually not sure. Trips took over a long time ago. Vince was forced out a long time ago too, but it's only more recently that Raw's gotten so good. I think it's because lately they've struck a great balance of exciting matches with really interesting storylines. The stuff with Liv has been amazing, and adding Bron and Ilja to the roster has resulted in some incredible wrestling.

Absolutely nowhere did I call AEW fun. I said it's funny to laugh at when I take a few minutes to catch up on what went on in Tony's world once every couple of weeks. It sounds like any given Dynamite would be much easier to sit through than any 3 hour RAW. This is exactly as sad as when people post Meltzer cope about how actually AEW's declining ratings mean the show is doing better because fewer people have cable every year. WWE is for losers, even moreso now than when I was a kid 20 years ago. And it wasn't cool then either.

Absolutely not the case but if I did sit here for three hours going back and forth with ya it would still be more fun. Someone in another thread suggested making RAW one hour, cutting the filler and canning the shitters slopping up all that other dead air time. If they did that I would absolutely go out of my way to catch that program for at least a little while and see what they can do.
