>>15043893Even then, a streaming deal would be better by default. It just depends on WHO though. If I were in charge of AEW, I'd go for either Youtube, Netflix, MAYBE Hulu or Amazon Prime. Youtube is the most used by far, but having it locked behind Youtube+ or whatever the fuck the premium service is could be risky. There's already still pushback to YT's premium service, and I hate it myself. Of course, they could just have it be free and run ads normally during their commercial breaks, but I don't know how well that would help them.
Netflix would be a great choice if Raw wasn't on there. I have no idea how two similar shows being on there would impact it though. Does Netflix pay per viewer? The move to Netflix makes sense, I'm just confused on how it'd make WWE any money asides from merch... if the goal is just more eyes on it, then I guess that's the goal.
And then I'd argue for Prime or Hulu because they have some decently popular shows on there. Having it be all in one place could provide fans other reasons to use either.
