Spears and Pillman make sense. Spears had years in WWE and had a good reputation with the company back then. Pillman is a second generation guy and still pretty young but Cody may have put in a good word for him. Ethan though, I think a lot of it was on Cody.

NXT is 10 guy's ceiling, I suspect he may be there as bait to help lure his wife back to the company when her and Billie are ready.
Pillman is an interesting case. I'm not sure if he's got a real main roster future as a star yet. The chair slide gimmick would be over for a few weeks but does he have IT and can he sustain it.
