The rivalry is because a certain segment of Iyo fans were absolutely furious that Lyra beat Iyo, even though it was clearly portrayed as a shocking upset, and Lyra has been presented as incredibly strong in WWE since 2020. But they took this as a sign that Iyo was being buried. She got her win back a couple weeks later so I hope they felt silly.
They're two of the best women in WWE and I look forward to their next match.
