Fifty years ago the restaurant owner was a mark for the wrestlers and gave them free clothes and cheap food and beer.
Nowadays the wrestlers are marks for the restaurant and spend exorbitant prices on food and beer in the hopes they'll get a free jacket.
All in all you'd have to be a complete geek to eat there

I went there when I visited Japan to see the last WWE tour. I don’t speak Japanese so I just pointed at the menu and asked if things were steak. Apparently “steak” means something different in Japanese.

It took an hour but I finally got a steak like my favorite wrestlers have had, and it was delicious. I asked about buying a jacket but they just gave me the bill. I paid over 150 dollars (American) because I sent back the first dish but they still charged me for it. Still awesome to imagine I was sitting where my favorite WWE superstars had sat.

I would do the trip again even though the language barrier meant I spent 90% of the trip in my hotel room.
