Didn't hate him, but I grew to love him during that mini-feud he had with Drew in the build-up to Mania 37. I think it was Fastlane when the two of them had an awesome match in the Thunderdome.

I liked him for about 2 or 3 months around 2010 I think? I believe most of it was I just liked to play his theme music while drinking and taking sleeping pills. He's really shit though.

For me, I fully came around to actually liking his character when he came back with the burger after burger shit and he finally had a full, real, imperfect character where it wasn't just 'OI LIKE TA FOIGHT FELLA!' And he actually felt real.

He's fine in the mid card, had some good tag runs and he's serviceable as a brutish heel you want to put against the world champion occasionally, but he was utterly boring when they tried to make him a top babyface and was never good enough to be a world champion. Booking people in their lane helps with fan perception of them.

I wasn't watching wrestling from around 2008 until the brand split in 2015, so I missed his entire push and never had the opportunity to hate him. When I look back at it, it looks super cringe. But I enjoy the veteran Sheamus even if there's no nostalgia attached for me.
