His redeemer gimmick got him over, anon. he had a good run with the TNT championship too.
the issue is when he lost it, Tony had nothing for him. Then he went to film something, I believe? So when he returned, Tony still had nothing for him. His wife came to AEW, and probably got fucked so she left him. Tony practically failed on him the second he booked him to lose the championship.
