>>15143037There's not really a deadline, it's just the fact WWE/UFC both have partnerships spanning most of the major media groups: Netflix, NBC/Peacock/Universal, Disney/ABC/ESPN, etc.
Fox just got rid of Wrestling to replace it with College Football - they won't want TV14 AEW on FS1, FX/FXX is theoretically possible.
Paramount/CBS is in the shitter financially.
Amazon could want more content, but would they beat/exceed WBD's offer?
Fox, CBS, NBC and Disney are all NFL partners as well - it's possible that Shad Khan has directed Tony to steer clear of them to avoid potential future conflicts and issues with the NFL league office (AEW show/PPV airing on the same night as an NFL game, falling out with important TV executives, etc).
WBD is the containment zone which is why Tony is so desperate to get a deal from them. I think the biggest question left is who agrees to an AEW deal first, Dijak or Zaslav. Donovan can't stop glazing Tony and Tony can't stop glazing Big Z.
