These spots always make me wonder if they're improv because I could not imagine intentionally brushing the ropes on a tope. Seems needlessly dangerous.

Still my MOTY but I know some people are less high on Ospreay than I am. I will say he restrained a lot of his flippyshitting during this match and seemed to concentrate more on striking which I appreciated.

You need to watch his match vs. Yuma Aoyagi from DDT's Judgement 2024. It's definitely a preference thing and you might still prefer the Ospreay match, but I liked the Yuma match a lot more.

His match against Suzuki from DDT Dramatic Dreams Vol. 11 was great too. I thought he was a lot of fun in the UJPW tag match as well, but that was way more showcase-y than a match.

I unironically want him to either do an extended tour in njpw after the g1 unless they hate him for some reason but they won't, or just go there when his contract is up. i'm primarily an aew fan but he's literally everything they need right now. shitty as it is, aew doesn't need him anywhere near that much.

the fed is restrictive because they have a pretty grueling house show schedule, or used to at least, so you don't want guys taking crazy bumps multiple times a week for 5k rednecks in niecefuck mississippi. danielson has only been doing it once a week and still managed to get injured multiple times in aew. but he made his name before wwe and is really just back to doing what he did back then on the indies. there's even a non-zero chance he works an old ass ROH feud with nigel at wembley this year.
