Government raising taxes on stuff like Gas at the pump solves nothing, it just makes everything more expensive across the board so state/federal government can waste even more tax dollars. Actual change doesn't come until you give out annual (not just one time) rebates for having/using electrical vehicles, have bills that SEPARATE household from EV electricity usage, and so on.
You don't need to pick favorites among manufacturers, let them fight it out. We don't need to ban the manufacture of gas cars. There's 1001 incentives you can do without being punitive assuming you actually give a shit, and aren't just a deranged leftoid who legitimately believes some people aren't WORTHY of freedom and free speech. There's no shortage of them out there.
