Good talent can relate things back to kayfabe well. Just to use a singular wrestler as an example, watch Priest's presser after WM, and then after Clash. In the former, he won't shut the fuck up about external things and representation and it's boring as shit. In the latter, he relates it back to his character and the very real chatter about him. He comes across like he has a chip on his shoulder, and actually makes you think he'll maybe go over Gunther at SS. So he's 1-1, but if talent leaned into it more, they could be great.
Just as an aside, I remember the WOAT presser was Bray's after his Mtn Dew match. Dude was shooting the whole time.
