Sami turning on The Bloodline got the biggest pop of the 2020s up to that point and got Sami insanely over and had fans legitimately wanting him to beat Roman for the title. You can't tell me with a straight face that he wasn't a huge part of The Bloodline angle

I don't know what these Mudline fags are smoking but no one gave a real shit about the angle until Sami started to make it entertaining. His goofiness made them more three dimensional and got them actual heat for when they had enough of him. Throw in Cody returning strong off of his pec injury to win the Rumble and things all aligned for the company.
