Punk is someone who thinks he is owed a favor by the world because, in his mind, he had a bad childhood and deserves to have a great adult life to make up for it. This is also why he has no children of his own, he fears that he may be a worse parent than his own parents were.
Anyone who challenges this “perfect life” is evil, in his mind, and not deserving or respect or even basic human decency. However, he’s also cowardly and knows, deep down, that he’s getting older and this terrifies him. Each injury in pro wrestling has broken his ego a bit more, and the downward spiral since 2022 has taken a major toll on his mental well-being.
He will have another blow up at WWE, mark my words, and will end up either suspended or fired.
