If Ospreay is kayfabe *that good*, he should mop the floor with guys who aren't as good as him. That's how you establish dominance.
If he's up against a nobody, he should mop the floor with him. Don't want him in matches where he's mopping the floor with people? Then don't put him in matches with nobodies.
Wanting every one of his matches to go a specific amount of time ignores basic wrestling psychology and just gets old. It's part of why AEW isn't taken seriously even by those of us who otherwise can't stand WWE.
I stick with Japanese wrestling -- the matches are long but at least the opponents have usually been established as evenly matched.
