There are rarely any actual stories in AEW, and the in ring work is workrate garbage 99% of the time. The best guys in AEW are all former WWE superstars, well specifically the ones who are actual fucking carnies.
Real SUPERstars who sell tickets have relatively "boring" matches that are all about the in-ring story, in-ring psychology, and big signature moves that pop the
crowd.To build up to those matches, they have promos, promo battles, and random edgy/goofy backstsge angles intermixed with soap opera tier bullshit.
Indie shitters will never understand this. Smarks will never understand this.
