If you're looking at from purely from a kayfabe perspective, you see Hook and Jungleboy who just had a bloody match just standing around, ignoring each other. Even worse you see Joe and Punk, about to have a match, just minding their own business. Previously on the show Joe was choking Punk out and raging mad. Yeah, we know wrestling is fake and Joe and Punk are mates but don't show that shit on TV. Don't show Malakai the spooky scary heel standing around with a cup of coffee. You're not burying Punk, you're burying your active talent, you're burying your own show.
Not to mention that I'm pretty sure they didn't get consent from everyone involved so now all of your talent knows when they are hanging out backstage in front of security cameras you might just decide to air that on national TV if you feel like it.
Honestly, it was just fucking absurd. If Tony was so upset by Punk's interview he needed the footage to be seen, leak it on twitter, don't put it on TV.
