I think most people see it for what it really is, something hilarious to laugh at, before moving on and having to admit this guy is undeniably great, be it as a screen character or as a wrestling booker and executive. The reason everyone laughs at Tony is because he thinks he is at Vince's level while he is a stooge who can't do anything right even when the starts allign.
