Ringside News Denied Access to AEW Event

No.15200029 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Dear @TonyKhan,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention an unfortunate incident that occurred involving your staff at the AEW Double or Nothing event and our freelance videographer, Steve Fall.
Steve Fall approached us last month about representing Ringside News at various wrestling events, including WWE, AEW, and others. He applied for credentials to cover Double or Nothing a few weeks ago and received confirmation from Jon Schneider. The confirmation letter did not indicate any potential issues with him attending the event on behalf of Ringside News.
However, after traveling across the country and arranging accommodation to cover this event, Steve was informed by the venue staff that he was not permitted to provide on-site coverage for Ringside News.
We find this situation highly unprofessional and believe it reflects poorly on your organization. If there were any reservations about Ringside News covering your event, this should have been communicated clearly in the initial confirmation email. Steve's time, effort, and resources were wasted as a result of this oversight.
It is important for you to be aware of this incident, as such behavior is unacceptable and unfair to Steve, who was simply fulfilling his duties as assigned. He did not deserve this kind of treatment.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Steve Carrier

P.S. The person who manned this account and all our other social media accounts was terminated back in January 2024. We are an entire new operation under new management.
