Punk will forever seethe about AEW because he expected to be their hero. He expected the entire locker room and fanbase to adore him and be all 'Thank you Mr Punk for blessing us with your presence and putting us on the map' even though the house was built before he came and none of them were buying his shit. A lot of the roster could see right through him and he hated the fact some of the fans could too. WWE fans don't have the same moral fibre and would never turn on him unless the company wanted them too. Punk also cared too and that's why he's still mad. If he didn't care, he would have walked long before he was fired. It's a bit like the guy who swears he's over the bitch that drove him nuts, but deep down he wish it worked out because now he has to be PG Punk and pretend he likes the Miz and Paul.
'hurr but they're adults and patched things up!' Don't be so naive. When has Punk ever acted like an adult? I bring it up every time, but the guy knocked out one of the Bucks a week after he posted a picture of with them saying he was having the time of his life and the happiest he's ever been. How do you go from that to knocking someone out? The guy is unhinged and you know he was absolutely seething that time Rollins got cheers in Chicago and if he wasn't on his best behaviour he probably would have had a sperg out later that night. The guy worked himself into a seething tizzy over a Hangman sign kek
