AEW handled it like shit: cards weren’t announced in advance and were mediocre as fuck, no local guys were booked (oh shit Ethan Page and other canadian dudes. I don’t care. I want the french speaking ones because I suck cock), tickets were overpriced until literally an one hour before the show and the venue is a chore to get into and I literally live a few stations away. Advertisements were also barely existant.
TNA, which I know nothing about, did it way better: comfy venue (but way farther than where I live), cheap tickets, been promoting the shit out of it for months and fucking Ali/Speedball sounds great to see live. I’m shoot a bit disappointed I didnt get a ticket while I don’t regret catching the youtube highlights back when AEW showed.
