Second, don't think anyone is saying Marigold is better than Stardom. Marigold has been around for literally just a few months and has the same unevenness as early Stardom.
Current Stardom, on the other hand, is knocking it out of the park and is probably the best wrestling company in the world right now (yes, if you can follow the stories it's even more engaging than what WWE is doing) so, no, no one is trying to console war these two companies in good faith.
