Can we have a serious discussion on how to fix AEW? No console war shit or petty argument or insults? Can we try to keep it civil just for once and be above the bullshit? They have the right idea. Look at how big of a positive reaction the turn in the Toni and Mariah story got. That was a moment. They need to aim at creating more of those in stories instead of just building to matches. Good matches in wrestling don't mean anything anymore when you can put any show on and see them. You want characters, you want personal stakes, you want drama. Their women's division right now is complete dimes because of that between Toni and Mariah and Mercedes and Britt. The mens stuff is struggling though. Funnily enough the Copester was doing good work in that regard between his feud with Christian and then again with HOB but he's out and personally speaking it's a presence that's missed

It fucked WCW post 98/99, TNA and AEW. AEW is still only a thing because Tony's dad is gifting him money.

That's not true though. At one point they were a spectacle in themselves that you hadn't really seen in mainstream wrestling for the exact reasons you're saying. Imagine seeing an Ospreay match in the middle of an early 2010s Raw back when Cena was on top. You'd have whiplash going from that to a Prime Time Players match. That's why NXT took off as big as it did for so long when it was bringing in and had names like Sami, PAC, Breeze, Owens, Balor, Joe, etc. For years WWE fans themselves would go crazy over Takeovers and then shit all over the main roster ppvs. When that style was something finally getting tv network spotlight it absolutely meant something

Draw a firm line between AEW and ROH. No more ROH belts on AEW TV. It's so stupid when every person walks out with some title, especially in a match where their title isn't on the line.

Dial back the WWE rejects. Aka fire Mercedes.

Stop letting wrestling cut 4th wall breaking promos. Doesn't happen too often, but it's still too much.

The wrestling is still really good, they have a lot of talent and some decent angles. Just need to focus on that so fans can get invested.

one Anon on here said it's the equivalent of trying to attract people to a restaurant that has vomit on the menu. At this point, the fanbase wants to help aew than anyone with an actual say.

Cornette's been right about this from the start. The rest of us just wanted aew to be something it wasnt we couldnt see it for what it was.
