Why do 90% of NXT shitters struggle to adjust to the main roster? Carmelo Hayes is a good example. The lack of a crowd reaction to his entrance during MITB was hard to see.

Because connecting with the lowest common denominator (aka people who actually go to WWE shows) is way harder than connecting with the common nxt audience, who is way more obsessed with the product and with wrestling in itself

if you're a bad wrestler doing mudshows and you're not good you eat shit from the crowd and either learn from it and grow or give up. if you're not good in NXT you still get cheered by the smarks who show up every week and you get a false sense of confidence that doesn't transfer to doing it for real.

Non-shittake: Raw is infinitely better than it was just 2 yrs ago. Problems remain: 3 fucking hrs. A non-Big4 is shorter and, except that shitter MITB, only 4 or 5 ad breaks (cheapest Cock). A regular show is 44 mins/16mins ads. Rasslin and soap operas (same thing) is 37mins/23 mins ads. That's a whole f'n hr of ads in a 3hr show.
Getting to TOO many backstage segments that aren't anywhere as entertaining as 98-whenever T&A/Skinamax WWF ended. Three's Company w/Judgment Day has grown thin. Finally, 15 min main events with half adverts. Plus lazy run-ins/hitjobs; SD is getting bad w/this.

Of the Big 4, NBA is the only one where a rookie can REALLY make the difference alone. NFL might have exception like Stroud but it was also a new coach and system. Used to, an MLB Rookie of the Year would be late-20s, 30 yo. Bron Steiner is an anomoly cos he's a genetic freak, grew up w/his dad and Scott teaching him and was taught S&C when he played fb for Kennesaw St. I saw him play agst my Alma Mater (Jax St) and, although I knew R+S's real last name, didn't click until halftime, reading the program and watching him kill DTs on blocks.
