This and the drama MJF created around the weekend and day itself of the show is what I think ultimately ruined Wardlow. Like you said that had been going on from the start of the company. They booked and built it as well as they could. They had the moment set up and ready exactly where they needed it to be. Then the moment finally came and MJF fucked them all over apart from himself. Imagine if Triple H caused that kind of drama the weekend of Mania 21. Batista wouldn't be spoken of the way he still is today. You don't get a redo there. You can't run that back and get people to buy in and be as excited as they were the first time

Way too overlooked a point. Not only did it take all the hype away and made it about MJF leaving or staying, but he couldn't even be bothered to give Wardlow a proper match after a year of build. MJF fucked him over haaaaaaaard. Tony did it later, too, but that was the major turning point.
