A pro wrestling war crime. 59 minutes of piss poor acting, weightless bombs, 2 injured limb segments that go nowhere and are forgotten about by the end, time filling, capital G Great Match quota filling, and one of the worst performances from MJF of his entire career. Never has a wrestler needed you to know he was great while being so god awful. I can almost tolerate Max turning all of his mid match moves into overly saturated big bombz, but god there is just so much vanity to go through. The big ones are the obvious ospreay style feet landing rana counter 50 minutes into the match and the big, stupid elbow drop to the floor that I sense he writes off as being out of desperation, but comes off as a deeply insecure. That's really the big theme. It is just so god damn insecure, he doesn't trust his own skill to fill up an interesting match (maybe because he's not an interesting wrestler! ) using things that don't already have a bunch of equity behind them already. Maybe the most insecure wrestler since 00s Hunter and with this match, definitely the worst wrestler in the world.
