There's really no reason to sign with AEW unless you want to sit at home. I can see why it may sound appealing but at the same time your stock drops and you won't get a similar contract ever again.

Or they could do a shit ton of indie booking like they did before and collect that sweet guaranteed cheque each month until they call you. Colt Cabana or Brian Cage (when he wasn’t booked for months) never stopped taking outside dates for example.

But then you have to deal with getting all your indie dates approved by Tony, and he then wants to control how his guys are booked on these indie shows. And he can pull his guys on a moments notice. Indie promoters think it’s not worth the headache
