Didn't used to be the case. He was able to have distinct high-quality matches against different guys in NJPW. His Scurll match wasn't his Ibushi match wasn't his Umino match wasn't his Okada matches.
It just comes down to Tony letting them agent themselves and Ospreay is taking all the box-ticking parts of NJPW's main event style in resulting in these lab-made ""epics"". It's unironically very soulless.

I never liked the bucks
I think Kenny was able to vary himself up enough and I consider him a much more complete performer than ospreay

I don't mean the stable, I mean the company. I only ever really liked Kenny and Hangman of the Elite desu, the bucks are and always have been terrible.
The stable right now is terrible because it heavily focuses on the bucks and jack perry which is just dire.
