>>15276223Hulk Hogan is such a strange figure to me. Let’s call him that: strange. He was the closest thing we had to a real life superhero back in his prime. Of course, that was all a work, and most of it his own handiwork. He would get booked (or book himself) to go over incredible odds of opposition and inspired many kids. A few decades later he gets himself “canceled” and essentially fired from WWE and yet his figure remains prevalent even within WWE itself. He’s got everyone in the internet who matters against him and yet he still stands strong. He’s still relevant and people still want to see him. HHH even asked him to do a short speech on this last Royal Rumble. And now, the former president of the United States asked Hulk Hogan to give one of the best speeches in his GOP nominations. Time and time again, the Hulkster has gotten upsets against incredible odds and stood strong through it all. Where many of his peers have all either died or turned into bitter assholes who have nothing nice to say about anybody. He really is the babyface of all babyfaces. Going over all the heels life has thrown at him, from Andre the Giant to the army of twitter trannies. Hulk Hogan, and most importantly Terry Bollea, is the closest thing we have to a real life superhero. I don’t respect him or necessarily like him, but I can’t help but be fascinated by him
