He's fucking terrible in the ring but he "gets it" out of the ring. He's not awful but he's regressed in 10 years which is a weird thing to see in a wrestler. He's just lazy as fuck. His "chokeslam" is the perfect example of this.

I was out of wrestling for 7/8 years, got back in last November. The most jarring shift in the IWC is the narrative to be considered a "good worker" is you need to work a fast pace with tons of springboards/flips and no selling.

I'm old enough to remember AJ Styles being called a spot monkey in early days TNA.

Which was always insanity because the guy was one of the x division dudes who didn't just try to suicide every move. There was thought and psychology behind it.
That said, Joe Hendry sucks in ring. He's worse than he was when he was in TNA last time withh Grado. Little bit of effort and tweaking and he'd be fine though. Guy has to stop that chokeslam. He can't do it.

aj never talked well, he got better over time but it took until he was in his 40s, but the triple threat with joe and daniels was the only tna match that I had ever seen until hogan arrived and I paid attention, he was great but the whole vanilla midget thing never really went away until guys like daniel bryan got to a main event level and even then I think smarks still dont really understand why it worked
