He was being used, he even won his WM match even though Karrion "KWAB" Kross needed it way more and then he was going to be in King of the Ring until he got injured during training of all things.

I’m sorry, but it needs to acknowleged that Bobbo just isn’t very good outside of being a midcarder. Being solely a body guy has a very short shelf life. He just isn’t all that interesting.

Bobbo is a cool dude, but he's a boring promo and the in-ring isn't anything special, also pairing him with Street Prophets was going nowhere. He needs a mouthpiece and MVP seemed to be getting harder to work with. There's also a million factions right now and shoving him into one or starting another up would be tiring and result in him getting lost in the shuffle. Sometimes it's best to let a guy go for a while. The decision may have even been mutual.
