Not that Anon, but does SteamCharts become SteamChart when speaking of a singular game? I genuinely don't know, but it doesn't seem like it would. In which case it would be third person singular or plural and would work fine in the context of the given sentence. No clue what a spacker is, though. Definitely gonna use it more going forward though.

Anyone comparing Fight Forever to No Mercy is buying into the hype. FF plays nothing like No Mercy except for having a Special meter. The controls are clunky as hell. It's just a straight up bad video game. The fucking TNA Impact game from like 15 years ago was a better wrestling game.

Tried it on the game pass, it was bad.
Did story mode although you can barely call it that. The decisions and branching of decisions has so much less depth than No Mercy. The bar system and taunting to build up does work but the overall reversal and grappling system is shit. Do not recommend. Also the lobbies have a shit system where you can’t just see an open list of matches people want but have to go looking for one instead. Never found an online match. Lastly, the game is sensitive to diets of wrestlers but they didn’t bother to change out the wine for CM Punk going to the diner? Lol

I bought it a week after it was out on PS5 because I was heavy into WWF No Mercy. The gameplay is literally exactly the same. It's good, but it's the same. Models are rough. The arcade-y game is salvageable, to me it was actually very fun, but I completely understand why the majority of modern wrestling fans hated it. I know they wanted to make the game a throwback to the older games, and that's fine. The actual reason the game failed because they wanted this retro-esque rough looking mod for an N64 game to compete with mainline WWE games and they thought that $60 USD was an adequate price for it. It wasn't. Price was slashed in half a couple of months later, but by that point it was way too late. Had the game cost $30 on launch, or even less, it wouldn't have flopped as hard as it did. To be honest, the game is a solid representation of AEW as a whole and how they perceive themselves - titans with huge dreams that only need time to stick it to the mainstream, when in reality they are an extravagant, overconfident, money backed scrappy underdog passion project of a dude who loves wrestling, but fundamentally doesn't understand it.
