>>15312663Dude, shut the fuck up and piss off. I'm here to correct idiots on merchandise, not listen to your bullshit.
>>15312555Anyway, this is most likely a work. Though it does seem odd, seeing as it's costing them production. And the shirt sucks too. But I can definitely see Phil and Drew talking it over and using it to building more of their feud. There's just two problems, one of which is more immediate.
1. If it really is to build the feud, why do it right before Summerslam? It's this weekend. Seems like a dumb idea. But I guess their reasoning might be to do it while it's at their peak of interest and also cash out the most sales, working Punk marks to buy it thinking it'll annoy Drew. (Speaking of which, does other wrestlers in the same company get a cut if it mentions their name?)
2. This can only work if Drew explicitly brings it up in another promo down the line. I get it, he's a social media queen, his posts get a lot of eyes online. It still needs to be addressed in the show for hard continuity. Online shit is basically the equivalent of the japanese doing shit like light novels for their main product. It's canon, but also not weirdly important. But it also IS important. Point being that something like this is damning to the way Punk presents himself in kayfabe and should be heavily emphasized.
