WWE caters to both wrestling fans and casual fans, and has done so since the early 80s. That's why it's so popular. The TV shows are heavily tilted towards entertainment/casuals, the PLEs are more tilted towards wrestling, and the House Shows are something in-between.
You can call it goyslop, you can make a faggot argument for the 8,438th time about WWE being McDonalds, it makes no difference and changes nothing. We are all heavily jaded here on /pw, Twitter only slightly less so, and for the vast majority of us, wrestling shows are background noise while we fuck around on phones, do chores, eat dinner, or whatever else. Wrestling shows are not a damn immersive experience where we shut off 100% of other distractions and stare intently at the screen for the duration of the show.
If that IS you, then congrats, but stop bitching on account of it not being the same for everyone else as well.
