Darby is actual straight edge and sticks with it. Punk is "straight edge" which means "ill pop oxys, xanax, ambien and ask for more as long as a doctor says i should". If he just claimed to be a teetotaler like Lawler it would be true. But when you have a guy who takes fucking xanax before he can cut a promo telling someone who considers writing poetry a way to deal with breaking his ankle they are doing the same thing, it does not really come across as being endearing.
