For years, WWE was quite literally the only wrestling on cable.

Saying it has the "most" now implies that there is competition which isn't even true, and is a step down for WWE, and an acknowledgment of a secondary promotion.
Really, WWE should only be compared to itself and how it's performed in the past.

There you go, it just sucks less than the competition. I haven't watched wrestling in over a decade because of how bad it's been for so long. When AEW was first coming out I got excited because they claimed they would bring back good wrestling. Literally all we got was worked-shoot-shoot-work-botched-shoot-worked-botch-inside baseball WWE reference brother.
