Only thing I kept thinking was I thought Punk was supposed to be the promo guy. He was completely outclassed by both Seth and Drew. Especially the latter. Drew had to get the crowd to chant for Punk at points where they just didn't care. It's fitting because he walked back every conviction and everything he stood for from at least the past 10 years by going back to WWE. Not huge on the guy but I could at least respect him going scorched earth on AEW and getting fired because that was still at least CM Punk. He'll do what he believes in, consequences be damned.
