I remember fighting him once in career mode with an underleveled CAW (like 70 OVR) in a Last Man Standing Match. He was fully red but no matter what I did he'd always get up by 9. He eventually beat me with a single F5.
It was like being buried IRL.

Brock was a significantly bigger pain in the ass to play against. The max power is one thing, but that max endurance with near perfect technique made him just flat out broken.

Why is it so grim? I remember GTA San Andreas(2004) allowing you to train muscle groups. Something like this is unthinkable now.

I don't get how people can call this game the GOAT when the stat system was so fucking broken. Literally nothing but strength and endurance mattered. Reversing was piss easy no matter what your technique rating was, submission was way too situational, and speed was worthless. If you were playing the bigger guy, you won every time. Unless you were retarded.

Nobody but virgins give a shit about balance in a fucking wrestling game. People just want decent graphics, a good branching story modes, fun arenas to fight in, a decent arcade like fighting system, and a okay roster with a good CaW creator.

You couldn't train individual muscle groups. You could gain muscle and strength, broadly, by lifting weights, and lose fat and gain endurance by running/stationary cycling.

Still more than anything those Hollywood wannabes put into their games nowadays.
