>>15394834It honestly boggles the mind just how impossibly fucking stupid some of you people are. You swear up and down you're not getting "worked" by the product on TV, but then you sit there like fucking retards and believe that every company on earth always, 100% of the time, adhere to 100% of the terms in 100% of contracts. You can't possibly be that dense can you?
NBA players will sign deals with tens of millions of dollars 3 minutes after Free Agency begins, meaning there was OBVIOUS TAMPERING, but because everyone did it, it was impossible for the league to crack down. Only in recent years did they add a few days buffer time to Free Agency, allowing 'legal' tampering but not allowing deals to be officially announced. Do you actually think players/agents/teams follow that? Of fucking course they don't. They're negotiating these contracts WEEKS ahead of the official start of free agency, they just can't go on the record or put pen to paper yet.
Same shit is happening here with AEW, and only a legitimate fucking moron would think it's not. Tony Khan already knows roughly what other networks would offer for 5 hours per week of AEW programming - and he's already known what they would offer for MONTHS now. The hold-up is TK trying to spike the ratings back up, get the buildings a bit fuller, increase PPV buy rates, to show that AEW is trending in a positive direction.
But the idea nobody from AEW has talked to a single company other than WBD.......you literally have to be one of the stupidest fucking marks on the internet to believe that. Yeah dude, every single other sports or entertainment industry does it, EXCEPT wrestling. Fucking incredible.
