His first match back in AEW versus Darby was better than the Drew match. He was slower in AEW but could still do something and work through a decent match. Maybe the injuries have finished him. He can't do anything now. It's like watching them try to carry a non-wrestler to a match.

Headcanon. He wanted back in AEW because he thought he could take over one day and make it his (I'm trying to run a company.) Once The Elite re-signed he realised he was fighting a losing battle. Now he's backtracked on a decade of trashing WWE to go back there so he can try and run NXT one day.
