I did ask him about this once on his Twitch stream and he politely told me that he didn't bother to keep up with the merchandise aspects of being a WWE wrestler and had no real knowledge on the politics of who got made into a "figurine" (his words).

He didn't seem all upset he got snubbed and I thanked him for answering my question. But it still personally drives me crazy....

Slapjack's lack of merch and his costume (which didn't match the rest of Retribution's) was due to him being a last minute addition to the group. Dexter Lumis was supposed to be T-Bar and Hunter intervened to save him from the career killing gimmick by handing Vince both Shane Thorne and Dijak.

Thorne actually liked the gimmic since he was basically playing against type but everyone else in Retribution hated it and more to the point, Shane wasn't part of their clique. Hence why he was able to survive it and is the only thing from the stable people remember fondly.
