>>15462928I think this is a big part of the problem. I don't know if the hydration drink is particularly harmful for kids to drink, but people confuse it with their energy drinks or otherwise aren't aware Prime is selling two(?) different types of drink products.
But the Prime owners absolutely could try to market the low sugar no-caffeine hydration drinks to children, who then will likely discover the energy drinks and get hooked on them due to the caffeine. Millions of adults already have caffeine addictions but its even worse when children develop it at a young age. Which is unfortunately already fairly common in America with how much soda parents are letting their kids consume. Not to mention how high childhood obesity rates are.
At the end of the day parents need to make informed decisions on what the let their children drink, but its kind of ironic so many people are pissed at Logan selling Prime to kids when they turn a blind eye to all the soda brands, Gatorade, etc. and worse that children continue to consume.
