I like Kzy a lot; he's been in Dragon Gate for a long time, but he's always been on the cusp of winning their top title.
His problem is that he does everything too well. They broke him away from a Main Eventer's stable to form his own, even earning a couple veterans' respect in the process and getting them to be his stable's bedrock.
But then the company was going through a huge sea change of new talent needing to be elevated, so he kind of became this "veteran, but not one who'd won the top belt" that all the newer, younger stars needed to beat for credibility.
He can do comedy, serious matches, be an underdog, be the "big brother" to other underdogs... but that means they can slot him anywhere they need. And they don't need him as a world champ at the moment.
I still believe, though. It'll be Kzy Time one day.
