I was going to say Braun, but logically thinking about that and looking back he was always going to fuck it for himself.
Hangman had all the ingredients to be a success, even in AEW, but he had one of the more forgettable title reigns in the company.

This one is entirely on the fans. Fans like to see an unbeaten, near invincible wrestler. But the push has to feel like it’s organic and been earned. Roman replaced Seth as The Guy that Vince wanted to push (after a lot of campaigning from Haytch) and to a lot of fans, he didn’t earn that kind of mega push (which to me is bullshit).
Fans just don’t like obvious favouritism I guess?

he left WWE after he basically retired. It went wrong for him long before that, or do you forget him dancing in a baby costume? He was overexposed and overworked in WWE and it contributed to his body breaking down too and he became the world's largest jobber, he should have been the GOAT giant with how he moved up until about 2010.
