He's really small and he looks straight out of high school. It's hard to buy him being able to beat people like Butcher.
NXT would do him a lot of good, but he will never get the opportunities he has gotten if he had started out there.
I'm not real sure where he fits long term in AEW. It's a workrate based product and he's not a workrate guy. What's the big Hook match people would want to see? I don't know. Maybe Brian Danielson can get something out of him and I think he could do a good feud with MJF. But I don't really see him meshing that well with The Young Bucks, Will and those types.
I think AEW in general is just going to have a lot of problems going forward with the style they like to do and the roster they have. People like Hook, Swerve, Jack Perry, MJF and others are not going to be giving you five star Meltzer classics. But those are going to be the people they have in 5 years when Bryan, Kenny Omega and others are done.
