He never really bothered adapting to the age of social media, spent most of his TNA years borderline phoning it in and never had to worry about getting anything less than premium contracts from mark promoters like Dixie Carter and Tony Khan. I loved Sting, but a lot of his work is just painful to watch without nostalgia goggles or the benefit of investment in the story.

NWA and WCW were not fucking minor leagues during the time Sting was their top guy, get off the kool-aid. Even after the WCW began dropping off in ratings, it was hardly minor leagues up until the day it was cancelled. You only started watching wrestling when WhatCulture started bankrolling indy shows, so I'll give you a pass on this.
