Pretty sure they tried it before and had to explain what a round robin is before every single match and still people complained that it didnt make sense.

They don't do it in Boxing, they don't do it in MMA, there's no compelling reason to do it in wrestling. It would only be done to fill up time and there's precious few live TV minutes as it is

It would kill the storytelling on the show for at least a month or longer so it's not happening. NXT did a very slimmed down version and while a lot of the matches were great it was one of the few times NXT has ever had that many heatless matches.

The point being that WWE doesn't give a shit about match quality and their fans are conditioned not to care about the predetermined cooperative dance.

It's soap opera slop now and it always will be, there is no going back, which is why it gets astroturffed so hard when you point it out because they don't like being reminded that they used to have a spine and complain when Vince fed them slop.

The only event left where wrestling and in ring ability is the focus is the Royal Rumble and winning it is considered on par with the G1.

WWE isn't going to magically become New Japan, you'll need to just watch New Japan.
