>>15521536>Updated rosterObviously. They actually have a considerable number of bigger names since the last one despite the fact they've kept it updated enough to get Edge in there. Playing it now though just feels like a time capsule because of how dated everyone is
>Visual overhaulI think this more than anything. They started the first one with some overly animated slightly cartoonish look in mind which was fun but not really something you want your main series to look like. They backtracked on it and sort of made things look more normal but there were some guys (like Jericho) who still looked that way and the overall style of the models still had that flavor to it. So yeah scrap everything there and start fresh. Keep it realistic
>Match typesThere are nice handful in the first one but not nearly enough especially compared to 2K. AEW has loads of trademark matches too that they could easily fill that out with
>CreationsThis goes back to the visuals altogether. Created wrestlers looked like shit and had that cartoon vibe to them. Sort that out with the rest. I doubt they could ever get as in depth as 2K. At least not while they've got as much other shit to catch up on but something better than what was in the first one wouldn't be hard with how low of the bar they left there
>Story modeI like the idea they had but the shit was way too short and way too repetitive. Which if they were going for No Mercy then they nailed it. But let's leave No Mercy in 2000 where it belongs. I like the idea of something non linear and something that can be replayed a ton with anyone you want on the roster. But flesh it out
I've only played a little bit of it but these are a few things off the top of my head
